The First Born Blessing
First of all you should know that the first born good thing was split into two. We are going to skip from the scriptures all the way to the blessing where Jacob will almost certainly bless his son and present them the first born blessing. Now, typically the first born blessing was given to one person, the first born. Yahweh is not concerned about the lineage of the first born. He has a first born flesh and a first born spirit. He is concerned about those that are born spiritually, the first born.
Having that said, instead of going to one individual, the first born blessing got split into two for the first time in history and since. It goes like this; to start with, the first born blessing received kingship, preeminence, and priestly blessing. This went to Judah that is the 4th given birth to. Secondly, there was a double material piece that normally almost all went to the same person, the kingship blessing, the preeminence, the one that took proper the family and all the actual double portion so that he can take care of the household normally all went along to one person but it got split into two when Jacob laid his hands on his two sons. One to Judah that got the kingship true blessing and the double percentage blessing went to Joseph.
This would be prophetic of something which would happen later if the kingdom of Israel would be split into two. Brett Scott always says that God is wiser than we are. Does one recognize that since the coming of the world, he is always giving messages of something is going to occur in the future, always! In the event that we’ll just have eyes to find out, and ears to listen for with the spirit regarding Saint, if we actually read the front from the book, we would be capable of understand the prophetic things that occurred at the end of the book. Aside from the prophetic things we should also understand the true meaning of Easter.
The actual blessing continues in Ephraim and Manassah. Grandfather Jacob black goes to lay on the job Manassah who is Joseph’s first delivered in Egypt in those days. Jacob now lives in Israel with Joseph and he is going to bless his / her grandsons and he is going to start with the first born.
So Joseph brings Manassah up and Jacob says no, Ephraim is the one who will probably get the blessing and it goes like this Gen 48:19 “and his father refused, “I know my son, I know. He also (talking about Manassah) shall become a great people, he shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants will be as a multitude of nations.” We are going to focus on this term, multitude of nations because this is destined to be literally one of the most important phrases that can be seen in your bible. The word multitude of nations in Hebrew is “melo ha’ goyim”. It means the particular “Fullness of the Gentiles”.
I’m Jim Staley. It is my heart’s desire that you will be challenged and transformed through the materials and resources that are in this article. Whether its about Jewish holidays, the sabbath day, or the meaning of Easter, we want you to know the truth because the truth will only do one thing!
